Quality: Our Emphasis

  • Paint in a quality exterior paint job can mean the difference between painting every few years or a paint job that will far outlast an inferior one.
  • All areas around your business or home including your shrubs, landscaping, roof, etc., should be covered from start to finish by drop cloths or poly plastics.
  • All surfaces to be painted should be thoroughly pressure washed and cleaned.
  • Mildew (which can attack and degrade the paint coating from the outside or inside) should be treated and killed.
  • All areas of loose paint should be scraped.  Further sanding and smoothing may be necessary for maintenance or cosmetic consideration. The proper primer should be applied to all bare wood and to assure proper adhesion of the new paint .  This step also helps prevent future peeling in these areas.
  • Loose caulking should be removed and replaced. Any open gaps should be filled with new caulking to prevent the water from penetrating the surface.

  • All loose nails should be re-set and re-putty as necessary.
  • Loose and/or missing window glazing should be replaced (after the wood has been primed to assure long life and the new glazing compound)
  • Daily quality materials should be used. Quality materials give the best results to last longer.
  • The work should be done in a neat and professional manner by skilled craftspeople who are polite, friendly and work efficiently.
  • The work area should always be neat and presentable. Paint supplies should be stored in one area while craftspeople work.  Paint supplies should not be scattered around the site.
  •  All excess paint should be removed from the windows and the entire area should be clean. 
  •  Touch-up paint should be labeled and left for your future convenience.
